Sapphire, female Siamese cat: brat cat, slutty kitty, blue eyes. And I’m afraid that she IS a slutty brat. Any time that we have a human male visitor, she will get into his lap when he sits down, flirt with him, and present her genital region. Yes, she’s spayed. But she’s willing to put forth the effort. Shadow, male orange tabby: just Shadowcat, and sometimes sweetheart. Charlie, male orange tabby and white: Mr. Charlie (my husband says that his full name is Sorry Charlie) and Charliepants. I’m the one who started calling him Charliepants, and I have absolutely no idea where that came from. Chaos, blue female cat: The Grey One or Trouble. She can usually be found attempting to eat Charlie’s skull. To be fair, he starts it about half the time, but she usually finishes the fight. ---

Peaches, female angora rabbit. Miss Bunny, Miss Bundy, Bun-buns, then back to Miss Bunny. I almost never call her Peaches. The two male cats are both Mr. Kitty. ---

All cats: Violet = Vi, Mama Kitty, Crazyface, Babyface, Tubby, Chubster Dinah = Di, Diner Tooken = Took, Tookie, Tooken Booken, Tookster, Tookie Bookie Jerry = Jer, Jerry Berry, Squeaks, Squeakers My neighbor gave three of them middle names. Violet Rose, Dinah Mae, and Tooken Joe. Jerry is Jerry Berry, so named by me and my son. ---

Goodkitty, Bran, Bran Flake, Bran Muffin, Winky, Smudge, Bubby, the Bonnie Prince of Diddums, Swamp Ass, Money Suck We also have a fancy goldfish that’s kind of a rescue fish. His previous owner named him Michael Phelps. We just call him Mikey and his tank is Mikeytown. ---

Yogi - Feet, Yogums. All of them are “Sweet Boy” and “Sweet Girl” as needed ---

We have a Max (cat) too (except she’s female) - my favourite nickname for her is Maximus Poopus. Also, Maxi Pantaloons (said with an Antonio Banderas accent). Feather is usually just Featheroni Baloney. ---

She did this a lot for the first few months I had her so as I would rescue her I would ask, “Why are you being a gooberhead?” Gooberhead is what my dad used cal us when we did something stupid. \*This evolved from, “Hi Goobs.” to “Hi ya Goobs.” and now it is “hoya Goobs.” ---

I have a [black Havanese dog](http://www.havaneseri.com/my_havanese_dogs.html) whom I have nicknamed, “Lab-cross”. Then if anyone ever asks, “Really that’s a lab cross? With what?” and they do, I get to say “with a hamster.” It doesn’t translate well to the written version, but people really love the joke and everyone in the park knows his name as “Lab-cross” too. ---

My cat has so many nicknames, he doesn’t know his real name. Real name: Santi, male, black cat Nicknames: Santito, chico/chiqui/chiquitito, furry niño, beba, Drooling Monster, cat-face, fuzzbutt, stink-breath, Big Fat Boy, and Squeaker McBeaker (are a small sample of the things I call him) ---

Nicknames: Lulu, Little, Squirrel, Jay (of Jay & Silent Bob), Mosh Pit, WDLB (stands for Wiener Dog Lookin’ Bitch), Sisty I should point out that many of the names are pairs, just like the dogs: Jay & Silent Bob, Moose & Squirrel, Bubba & Sisty, Big & Little. ---

Bruce the pug: Brucey, Puggy, Puggy Smalls, Puggy Supreme, Puggy Supreme with Fries, Pugtastic. He also has mood-specific names: if he’s happy and wagging, he’s Mr. Curly Tail. If he’s got his tail between his legs or looking droopy, he’s Captain Bringdown. (“Hey there, Captain Breakdown, why don’t you bring back our friend Mr. Curly Tail?”) Batman the cat: Mr. Meow-Meow, Herr Meow-Meow, Kitty. I don’t think I’ve really ever used his real name except at the vet.
