Speaking of tasteless (ha!) ways of eating too much, too fast there is also mukbang. There are losts of videos about this perversion in the net and they are disgusting. No, I don’t have what it takes to eat like that. But some people make money out of this.

I wasn’t at the actual eating event, so I’m not sure. But my recollection of what I heard at the time is that everyone assumed he knew that prunes were a laxative and yes, they egged him on, but thought he was aware of the consequences.
