I just checked and my ex-gf’s Mom is still in my phone. She really meant a lot to me and I am going to keep it there. ---

I read this thread title and though, “Oh geez, no – why would I do that?” Then I realized that my sister-in-law, who passed away in May, is still in my phone. So I am on the list. And I can’t say I feel particularly compelled to delete her now, either. ---

Phone list no, because I don’t have a cell phone. There are 3 deceased people on my Yahoo messenger list, though. They’ll be there 'til it’s time for me to go. ---

I began to read the thread and decided to delete the two dead people on my phone. I won’t miss them any less. ---

I have one deceased friend in my contacts list. I don’t have any pressing reason to delete it, and I enjoy seeing her name pop up from time to time as I’m scrolling through. It’s a nice random little reminder of her. It’s no big thing. ---

Removed the number of my granddad after he died. Not immediately, maybe a month later. ---

Not an issue on my phone contact list. For people in my email or instant messenger contacts list that I’m no longer in contact with (for whatever reason), I munge the address with leading zzzs so it won’t send and also will sort to the bottom of the list. I do have an unused cell phone that has 2 or 3 messages from my deceased Mom that I’m meaning to but haven’t yet recorded/digitized to my computer. ---
