My dad would kill to protect me and probably kill if I gave him a good reason. He’s the sort of guy who would cop to a murder for me. Both of my parents would kill to protect me on the spot, and die for me. They are pretty friggin’ awesome. My brother and I are close but he’s got kids and I don’t, so I’d rather he stayed alive and out of prison. My oldest cousin would probably kill and die for me. He’s cool. ---

I have somebody who would kill to save me in a heartbeat, and who might also die to save me (maybe) which is cool and good to know as I’ve never thought about this question before. (You didn’t have an option to choose both, but I want the free food now, please.) ---

My husband and my best male friend would probably fight to protect me from an assault, but they would try not to kill the attacker. My mom and dad and brother…nah. No help there. My female friends are hard core pacifists. So while they would help me, it would probably be more effective and less bloody then **Skalds** scenario. My cats would kill for me. They have. Yup. Three blackbirds and counting, all dragged indoors and laid neatly at my feet by proud loving cats. ---

My other half would probably die for me. I’ve often said half-joking, half in admiration, that if we were starving he’d probably take the food out of his mouth to feed me. Gross, yes, but that’s how loyal he is. And I’m sure he’d murder for me if he felt it necessary. I love him very much. ---

Two of my three dogs would kill someone that meant me harm. A friend of mine is a cop who trains dogs for his department. He came over with his bite suit and we tested my dogs. Two tried to kill him (one gave some nasty bruises through the suit). One of the three just wanted to cuddle. ---

My parents would certainly kill to protect me from serious harm or death, and they’d probably die to save my own life. My sister would likely kill to save my life as well, but I hope she wouldn’t die towards that end; I wouldn’t want her to. ---
