When my brother was in the army, fixing Radar stuff in S. Korea, percussive maintenance was standard procedure. If the Raytheon Reset (power off, wait 60 seconds, power on) didn’t fix it, lift one side of the equipment 4 inches and drop it. It sounds uncommonly stupid, but it worked about half the time.
