# Do you know how to tow a car/be towed in a car with a tow line?

The risks involved can’t possibly be worth the cost of towing. Even very minor damage to your vehicles costs more to fix than towing. Yes I have done it many times when I was young and no I don’t know how to do it right because it is not right to start with.

Huh. I thought the only use of a tow rope was to pull another car out of a ditch. People actually get out on the highway and tow a car a long distance using just a rope??
