Thanks for the responses. I was asking because my GF and I are the same age (35) and while watching a show I made a reference to Squiggy and she didn’t know what the hell I was talking about. “You know… ‘Squiggy!’” ---

Yes. 33. We watched it when I was a little kid: Mom came from Milwaukee, so she particularly liked it. I think, I THINK, that it was Bosom Brothers, then Laverne and Shirley, then Taxi, then the Carol Burnett Show. I may have the middle two transposed. We would sit in the living room around the old coffee table – my parents on the sofa, me cross-legged on the floor. My memories of being two, three, and four years old are occasionally surprisingly vivid. ---

If you have kids and they watch Nick Jr. you probably hear his unmistakable voice every day. He voices Henry the Penguin on the show Oswald. Since I hear it playing in the background but never watch the screen I just picture Squiggy the whole time. ---

I said yes but it’s more like I’m vaguely aware that there was a guy named Squiggy on I think Laverne and Shirley. But there was only a yes or no option. ---

Yes, and I’m 56. 🙂 Eddie Mekka who played Carmine Ragusa on _Laverne and Shirley_ was also in _A League of Their Own_. He was one of the guys dancing in the bar with Lori Petty and Madonna. It’s one of my favorite movies! ---
