Do you know why there are no christians on the Supreme Court?

He’s Catholic. I thought it was five Catholics and four Jews, but it’s six and three.

I know. I just thought it was funny the Catholic you missed is named Kennedy.

How many were in Skull and Bones?

We all make god in our own image…yours, apparently, is a loon.

Well, if you pronounce “Christian” to rhyme with “superstitious red-neck bigot,” some people will try to distance themselves from your perception.

He’s not related to the MA Kennedys.

“The Lord has redeemed all of us … not just Catholics. Everyone!” Pope Francis.

I don’t consider myself Catholic any more, but you have some ignorant or misinformed Catholic friends if they said this to you. It’s never been ambiguous growing up as a Catholic that we were Christian. I mean, it’s kind of the central tenet of the faith.

Cite? Never heard that in my life growing up Catholic. Heard that said about non-Christians, sure, but not that you had to be Catholic specifically, just that you had to believe in Christ.

Prayers to do what?

Prayers are always seeking God’s perfect will … not in telling Him what to do

Mr Quatro, what’s a “pun”?

In an ideal world maybe–in the real world, don’t bet on it.

I’m sorry, I have a cold.

Do you know why there are no Christians on the Supreme Court?

“Judge not lest ye be judged?”

You guys are so literal. Sheesh.

“No, no…not a pun…What’s that thing that spells the same backwards as forwards?”
(Long pause) “A palindrome…?”
“Yeah, that’s it!”

I’ve found it’s usually fundamentalists who believe this. I recall listening to a Thai fundamentalist Christian explaining to another Thai (Buddhist) how “evil Catholics” were not Christians. This same man happens to interact with an American Catholic whom I know, and the latter is blissfully unaware of the other’s opinion of him. (Or what his opinion would be if he knew the guy was Catholic; the American doesn’t wear his religion on his sleeve, but I know he’s Catholic due to some passing references he’s made.)

I was in a little Polish bakery one time on Richmond Blvd in Houston, Texas when I decided to try one … it was quite tasty really, but it was back in the early 70’s.

I’m sure it’s no longer there

Don’t you know that it is written that if you were to judge yourself … you would have no need to be judged.

Me, watching Mr Quatro post…it’s gotta be like what a recovering alcoholic bartender goes through every day. Gets my random all stirred up it does.

While this is the forum for jokes, I’m pretty sure that it’s not the forum for religious screeds or witnessing. I could be wrong, of course. No pun intended.

 That made me laugh more than anything that other guy has posted so far.
