Here is an old timey candy. 😉 Jordan Almonds. There’s a container on my kitchen counter nearly all the time. They’re sold at many places and various brands. They’re a variety of pastel colors except at Christmas. They’re dark green,white,and red at Christmas. I like almonds. I like candy. But the idea of candy coating on almonds just ruins both for me. ---

Some are better than others. My wife often buys some around Easter (I think). Not sure, but I think she gets them from William-Sonoma or some other upscale store. They are quite good IMO - of course, Almond M&Ms are my favorite candy. But I have had other (less expensive?) ones that I like less well. The candy coating is VERY hard, and has a flavor I favor less. But I’m happy to eat them only a couple of times a year. ---

They used to be ubiquitous here, but I haven’t seen them in years. I remember liking them as a kid. ---

I’m sure I like them, though I only recall ever having had them at weddings and possibly occasionally at other gatherings like baby showers, neither of which I have attended very often. Of course, after having seen _Bridesmaids_ many times, I’ll forever more associate them with \*that \*scene(you know the one I mean). ---

I didn’t like them when I was a child, because I didn’t like almonds. Now, I suspect I’d like them okay, but I never see them. ---

But you’re certainly right about the coating being hard. It’s like trying to chew a rock. I stopped eating jordan almonds when I lost my dental insurance and couldn’t afford a broken tooth. I realize you can just suck on them until the coating dissolves rather than chewing them. But they don’t work well as a hard candy either. The coating has no flavor other than basic sweetness. And when you’re done with the coating, you’ve got a soggy almond in your mouth. So jordan almonds fail as a hard candy, as a chewy candy, and as a nut. ---

I love them. They’re hard and crunchy and there’s a softish layer in between the nut and the candy coating. I think it’s marzipan. They’re addictive for me, so I try to avoid buying them. I won’t stop eating them until they’re all gone. ---

Salt almonds and sugar are a pleasant combination. But I haven’t eaten one in thirty years. So I like, but I wouldn’t call it a favorite. ---

I love them, but they don’t love me, so I never buy them anymore. ☹ And yes, their quality does seem to vary by manufacturer. BTW, at my local store, there is a particularly good variation on Jordan Almonds included in the Jelly Belly display that seems to have a thin coating of chocolate under the hard candy shell. I assume they are a Jelly Belly product. ---

I don’t care for them nor did my parents but my brother loves them. I have no idea where he developed a taste for them. ---

I like them. They are always served at wedding receptions, and I always eat them. Then I forget about them until I attend the next wedding reception. ---

No. They remind me of the times back in the '50s, when my mom would have her Mahjong parties, with bowls of mixed nuts and Jordan almonds on the card table. ---

I voted ‘no’. I don’t hate them but I don’t like them much either. Too hard and chalky. To be fair, I’ve only had them out of a net from a party favor, so they may not have been the best examples. ---
