I’m a fan of cunt because it seems to be one of the few taboo words anymore that really has an impact, but only in certain situations. I’ve met some people who overuse it from time to time trying to be super edgy, but that threatens to cheapen it. I’d rather it not become a casual word like retard, pussy, or dick. Retard is fun to say, so you can sprinkle it around, but cunt should be saved to pack more of a punch whether it’s being used as an insult or in an amorous setting for dirty talk.
The dude who messed your order up isn’t a cunt, OK? If you’re gonna use it as an insult you need to work up a good scowl and make it cut your teeth. Similarly, in bed, I’d rather not be told to fuck your cunt over and over. I’m not gonna file a formal complaint or anything, but you should save that for when things get really intense and are reaching a boiling point, or as emphasis at the end of a string of commands. Pussy is fun, feminine, and flirty whereas cunt is dirty, salty and has no shame. At least, that’s what seems right, but I could be crazy since I just wrote two paragraphs about proper cunt usage, so pay me no mind.

Oh no, people use cunt as a word for vagina _during sex_?!
I don’t have sex with vaginas, so I’m not really the target audience for such a usage, but that would strike me as an absolute buzzkill. I’d be like “_pause_ cunt, really?” and roll over. Then I’d be the cunt.

“Fuck” is such a beautifully versatile word. It’s a noun, it’s a verb, it’s an adjective, hell it’s even an infix. I love it.
When I was dating on eHarmony I used to bring this up on the first date. It weeded out the losers pretty effectively.

Nigger is the only world I don’t use (well, I sometimes use it ironically when messaging friends online- “My nigger”). Cunt, retard, etc, are all part of my regular vocabulary. My favorite word is, of course, fuck. As **Sattua** pointed out, it’s incredibly versatile. Fuck, retard and bitch are probably the ones I use most often.

Fuck and bollocks would be the swear words I use very regulary. Probably use both at least 10-20 times a day but we Irish are a very sweary lot. e.g. My department head said to me only today “Did you sort out that cunt in finance and his fucked up computer?”
Cunt is used quite a bit as well. Probably hear it at least twice a day. If I’m in the pub with the lads then it’s usage will go up by a factor or ten at least.

I have to agree with the pro-cunt sentiments. I relish both it’s use and the reaction it generates. So I avoid using it as much as possible, for fear of wearing it out.
I say “fuck” so often in casual conversation that it is completely and utterly meaningless. I’d hate for that fate to befall one of the last two truly offensive words in (American) English.
