Sometimes. My 1987 Mazda 323 (currently being used by **FtGKid2** ), is _The Gray Ghost_. **Mrs. FtG** went thru a run of blue station wagon mom-mobiles: A Chevy, a Sentra and a Saturn. They were each _The Blue Bomber_ (with no numbering given to distinguish them). Our current main 2 vehicles are not specifically named. ---

My first vehicle was a 91 Dodge Dakota that I named The Danger Sled after a month of having a bunch of wierdo accidents: clipping off the sideview mirror on a mailbox, backing up into a gate in a tight space and breaking the taillight, replacing the windshield and then having a truck in front of me spit a rock right into it. I sold it off and my mom gave me her Chevy Beretta which I never named. I sold that off and got a Saturn Vue which I never named. I now have a Honda Odyssey, which I named _Homer_. ---

We had just purchased a Blue Toyota Matrix. Me: Looks like we took the blue pill. We could call it Neo. [The One from The Matrix- real creative right?] Daughter: No Dad, Nemo is orange. We should call it Dorie. So we have now driven Dorie for 9 years. In high school, I drove a Mercury Bobcat that was blood red with wood paneling sticker all down its sides. We called it- Bleeding Tree. ---

My first car was a beat up Honda coupe with a jillion miles on it named El Dente. My next two cars weren’t named. My current car is a gold Saturn Aura named Brabarah ([there’s no such name as Brabarah](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bte1M8d2Mu4)). ---

My mom had a '55 Chevy Bel-aire named “Betsy”. She traded it for a station wagon. I still cry at that. My wife had a '9-something purple Pontiac Sunfire that became the Purple Pontisaurus. We do not currently have a named car, but we rename our GPS unit for every road trip. ---

I had a Ford Econoline E150 van called The ThunderBus! because the roof would rumble at high speed (65) from the difference in air pressure. My current van, a white Chrysler Town & Country, is F-Hole One. We call my band The F-Holes as a joke name, and I usually haul everyone and our gear around. (An F-hole is the S shaped soundholes on instruments in the violin family and on some guitars, including the ones in the band.) ---

My mother-in-law called my old purple Ford Ranger “The Barney-mobile”. Of course the kiddo picked up on that shortly after. Currently I drive a little white Nissan Versa. I have named it after what it looks like: “Tic-Tac”. ---

I have only one car, so not much point in naming it, and since it’s a newish Fit it doesn’t have any special character. My girlfriend and I have 4 scooters between us, so they have names. My Aprilia Scarabeo is El Pavo, which is more of a title than a name, and my Vespa is Buzzy. Her Yamaha is Azulia, and we haven’t yet named the newest member of our stable, a sexy black Genuine Stella 2T. ---

Sometimes, sometimes not. Some seem to have personality, others don’t. Old Bessie, a 1990s Oldsmobile, had a personality because I was constantly having to “coax” her into doing things. The current car? Nah. ---

Speaking of which, my first car was a Cypress Green '98 Civic which I named Royal. This was after Roy Orbison’s “Evergreen” and Almanzo’s brother in Little House on the Prairie books. Now I’m on Digby who was named that because he was funded from my grandma’s death and her initials were DIG.
