Yep, we do. We don’t live together yet so there’s rarely morning sex unless I stay the night. We both shower; that’s where foreplay begins. I usually get in the shower first and shave it \*\*all \*\*off. I like the feeling and so does he. It only takes me about 10 minutes - I have it down to a science and I’m not super hairy anyway. A new and good quality razor, hot water and shaving cream is the ticket for a smooth finish. If anal is involved we usually plan for it because an enema is a must. Aside from that, we both brush out teeth and then we go at it! Oh, and we usually get our “toys” out too. 😃 We’ve been pretty busy lately and have not had much of a chance in about 10 days, but this weekend we have no commitments and come hell or high water we are going to get naked, dammit! 😛 ---

The main thing is that I have to get my son to sleep first, which often takes more than an hour. And it often doesn’t work because it’s not uncommon for one of us to actually fall asleep before he does. So our frequency is way down. ---

I’ve been known to give the undercarriage a good splash-and-scrub with a washcloth beforehand. And I’ll brush my teeth. Sometimes a swipe of deodorant. My wife typically disappears into the bathroom for a five-minute-or-less prep too, presumably doing similar things. ---

I’m partial to taking and suggesting a shower if there is a chance that an unpleasant odor would be a turn off. But now, I kind of want to listen to Eye of the Tiger before. ---

We brush our teeth. That’s part of the foreplay. Then we sort out the recycling. That isn’t part of the foreplay process but it is still quite important. Then it’s business time. Seriously, we are night showerers so we are clean when we get into bed and either happens then or in the morning. ---

If I showered that morning, nothing. If not, and I want oral, a quick trip to the bathroom for a little wipedown with a wet washcloth is all. We have three kids, so finding the time and energy for sex is daunting enough without adding convoluted pre-intercourse cleaning rituals. ---

Well, we almost always shower first, but that… oh wait, if we’re going to be taking the back road, I give her an enema first. That doesn’t take long, though. I’ve got it down to a science. Or medical procedure, if you prefer. Then we hop in the shower… well, that is if she doesn’t have to sit on the toilet for a minute. Then we hop in the shower. Well, she hops in the shower, and I get the bed or blanket on the floor ready, maybe some toys and a porn DVD or some pics for the computer or something, maybe do a bong. Maybe two. Then I hop in the shower with her. By that time she’s all shaved smooth and slick, but I am a detail-oriented person, so I always check to make sure it’s done properly. Sometimes that can take a while. You can’t rush through a job like that. Eventually we get out of the shower, but oftentimes by then things have already got going, if you know what I mean. Then we have a nice long languid session of lovemaking, interspersed with periods of vigorous, high-energy monkey sex, and eventually we reach a point where the only thing left to do is get back in the shower and wash off all the sticky drippy crusty stuff, if you know what I mean. So thinking about it, it seems to me that showers bookend our love making. If we lived together, though, things would be different. ---
