Pretty self-explanatory. I don’t, I think they junk up the car, and I don’t feel the need to share my opinions with whoever happens to be behind me in traffic. 10 zillion people seem to disagree with me. So, if you have 'em, share them with me, I’m curious! ---

I like it when I see stickers that echo my viewpoint or belief, especially if it’s a minority one - makes me feel not so alone. So I return the favor by having some stickers on my car too. I have a “I’m straight but not narrow” sticker on my car in hopes that gay people and fellow liberals will feel slightly less marginalized, if only for a second. I also have one that says “Do not assume I share your prejudices” which I hope makes some people think. I had a Kerry sticker during the election season. Not because I want others to know my opinion. I thought of it as donating ad space. By the way, bumper stickers peel off pretty easily and without any residue, at least from painted surfaces. (I’ve never put one on the bumper, they’re all on the tailgate.) ---

Not on the bumpers, but the rear window of my truck sports a “What would Buffy Do?” decal and a “Buddha” fish. ---

I have a “StarFleet Academy” sticker on my back window. I also have a bumper sticker that says “I’m not suffering from insanity, I’m enjoying every minute of it!” ---

I used to have one that I made that said: “This car runs on 100% clubbed baby seals”. This was at a time when vegetarianism was becoming fashionable and I was catching a lot of flak from some of my buddies for my eating habits. So I decided to piss them off more. 🙂 ---

The last time a bumper sticker was on my car, it wasn’t by my choice. I was working in a government office. My boss insisted that all the people who worked under him had to put bumper stickers on their cars. The sticker was red, white, and blue, and it said **JOBS FOR VETERANS**. It irked me to be forced to do this, so I put the sticker on my bumper only after I cut off the letters J and O, leaving the message **BS FOR VETERANS**. ---

Nope, no stickers on my new one. My ten year old one, however, has two window decals, a hippie looking flower one behind my seat and a metallic looking spiderman logo behind my sons seat. Once they’re paid for, I figure they’re okay to sticker up. ---

I have one of those oval location-type stickers – it’s green with white type and says “Exit 0” (for Cape May, NJ, my usual shore destination – which is south of the start of the Garden State Pkwy). It goes nicely with Hula Girl and Hula Guy on the back shelf of the car. ---

I haven’t had actual stickers on my car since the '81 VW, but I had college window clings on my last car for a while – plus a handmade sign (the size and shape of a bumper sticker, taped up in the back window) that said “Real women know how to handle a stick.” I’ve had my current car for 1.5 years, and haven’t put anything on it or in the windows (except for a window cling that let me park on campus, for the duration of the semester . . . then they switched to hang tags). I keep meaning to get a [Cowboy Mouth](http://www.cowboymouth.com/) window cling, though, and if I ever get around to picking one of the thousands of custom window cling sites on the web I’ll replicate the “real women” sign. 🙂 ---

I buy bumper stickers and stick them on magnet strips. That way, I can change them whenever I get bored with them (or change my opinions), and my paint isn’t damaged.
