Do you re-use ZipLock bags?

I know- ZipLoc bags and their ilk aren’t designed for years-long use.

I hardly expect “years-long use”. But re-using minimally soiled ones a few more times reduces overall use of plastic bags in our household.

How do you accomplish a good seal? Love the idea, wondering about freezer burn and spillage. The cereal boxes we have around the house are almost all family-sized Cheerios. They tear open along the top.

I either twist the top and close it with a spring clothespin, or roll/fold down the top and use binder clips.

I also reuse the type of bags that are inside cereal boxes

I just checked my stash and I have 5 old cereal bags. They do come in handy.

i use the cereal bags for trash, and the boxes will fill with smaller things for the recycle bin.
