Yes - and as soon as I increase my insurance I’ll prove it. Fifty years ago in high school our posse of nerds made a nuisance of ourselves skipping in the hallways - it IS actually possible to skip backwards, but stopping is difficult. Skipping down a ramp while carrying a film projector in each hand allows gaining more altitude than is comfortable to land from, and stopping is more than just difficult.
I skip brushing my teeth.
Sure you can skip, but can you skip to my lou?
@puzzlegal ?
I tried and was perfect from the first step. I stopped when it became clear that the clatter of my 230+ lbs on our wood floors would not be kind to our basement tenants.

Suuuure.
I tried just now, and after a few false starts, I was able to skip, rather clumsily. At first I thought my legs had so totally forgotten how that I wasn’t going to be able to, but it seems they remembered, with some nudging.
I haven’t skipped in decades. But, reading this thread… I had to try.
Hey, easy peasy. It is not something i forgot how to do, and it didn’t even hurt anything to try it. I confess I’m a little surprised by that. (Early 60s.)
I’ll be 61 in January and I’m happy to report that I skipped all the way across the living room and back and suffered no major injuries.
Turns out my physical therapist is 100% on board with me trying to skip - or try doing any kind of physical activity, within reason!
And the answer is no, I don’t remember how.
There are lots of different ways to skip and some of them are really challenging (at least for me).
No, but I can galumph like an mf-er.
I am known far and wide for my harumph.
