# Do You Still Have Childish Habits?

As a child, when I was really excited and happy, I’d do a kind of hand-flapping that I suppose resembles autistic behavior but really was just a physical manifestation of the energy I felt because I was happy. My parents used to find it hysterically funny and they teased me mercilessly over it.

Now (at 50) I still do it. But only when I’m sure no one can see me.
