# Do you submit answers to the NPR Sunday puzzle? Have you ever been selected?

Just curious how many folks around here play the NPR Sunday puzzle? How often do you submit an answer? Have you ever been picked to play the on-air puzzle?

I’ve been listening to the weekly puzzle segment since the days that you had to send in a postcard with your answer. I never submitted a postcard, but I’ve submitted online a few times. I can usually figure out the puzzle answer about half the time, but would always forget to send in an answer – I might submit an answer a couple of times a year. This year I’ve been making more of an effort to remember to send in my answer, so we’ll see how it goes.

I listen and play along, but I never try to figure out the answer to the puzzle.

I listen diligently every Sunday, get cranky if I miss it on air and have to listen to it online. The ones that come to me pretty easily & quickly I’ll normally send in, maybe 6 or 8 times a year, but have never gotten the phone call. My big issue is I work in a tin can where my cell reception is iffy, and if I’m out in the yard or the shops, I generally can’t hear/feel my phone go off. Who knows, I may have been called, and just saw an unfamiliar number in my call log, and was never the wiser.

I catch it once or twice a month, probably submit an answer once a month. I don’t really want to be picked, I’m not sure why I do it. 😅
