Yeah, I think Saturday’s supposed to be in the single digits here… going to CA, whatever the temperature there, sounds a LOT better than walking around the Plaza. Especially if there’s a cute guy involved. 😛

When I get home from work I take off my watch, rings, earrings, and necklace. They all go back on if I’m going out, or when I’m going back to work, but when I’m just hanging around the house on a weeknight/weekend I don’t wear any of the above.

If I ever get married I might keep my wedding band on all of the time, but it will be an adjustment. 🙂

I always take mine off at night before going to bed. Especially at this time of the year when it’s quite hot and humid. The less you’re wearing, the better.

I take none of my four watches off when I go to bed.

Yes, I wear four watches. I used to wear six. Those two were on my ankles, but they ran out of batteries.

I _can’t_ sleep without my watch on.

The ticking helps me sleep. :smack:

I only put a watch on before I leave the house.
Upon re-entering, the watch comes off - if not right away, eventually. I _never_ wear any watch to bed.

I used to, when I was a kid, but when I took it off to take a shower once, I thought it smelled really weird, and nasty. I threw out the watch, saved the battery, bought a new one, and started the habit that I have today. It might not have been because I wore it all night, it could have been just because the watch was old and cheap and plastic, but I’m a little O-C about nasty smells. Offend once, and it’s trash.

I take mine off the second I walk in the door.

This post is good, but combined with your sig line, excellent.

**Gabe** , just have the margaritas ready for us, OK, dear? Oh and a sunhat. I don’t care of it’s only 50 degrees (please tell me it gets up to at least that high in the daytime), I’m wearin’ a sunhat. I’m so tired of snow & cold weather and it’s only January.

I sleep with my watch on. I only take it off to shower or swim. I never take my wedding ring off (unless I am talking to someone really hot :)).

Friday’s forecast high: 54
Margarita’s are old news. A Mexican Flying Saucer is what we need.

PS-
Google won’t help - heres the dirt:

1 large bowl. 2-4 straws. Tropical fruit chunks. Fruit Juice. Almost an entire bottle of tequila. fun.

I don’t wear a watch at this point, but when I did I was in the habit of taking it off at night because when I was younger I cracked a watch face against a wall while asleep.

Tequila is _poison_, man. You trying to kill me? I drink foofy drinks only!

I take my watch off before sleeping, showering, and sometimes typing. The holes for the spring that holds the band in on this watch are pretty worn out, so if I sleep with it on, the band tends to come off.

Tequila straight is poison. In a MFS, it can be extraordinary. Foofy drinks can be arranged, of course.

I’m exactly the opposite. I have to take mine off before bed and put it on my dresser, _not_ my nightstand, or the ticking drives me absolutely insane. I can hear it through my pillow if I leave it on my wrist at night!

To further the complete hijack of this thread:
Well, I’ll tell you my entire experience with tequila.

I had a tiny sip, straight once, and i’ve heard stories.

I think I still have scars on my esophagaus from the sip, and my ears still bleed when I think about the stories.

I’m not a heavy drinker…when I go out with my coworkers I usually order one (1) White Russian. Maybe 2 if work has been particularly stressful. I \*adore \* grasshoppers, though.

My watch stays on except when in the shower or swimming. When I get out of the shower, the watch goes on before the underwear (although not on the same body part, which I mention just in case that smarty-pants {b] Shirley Ujest\*\* shows up here.)

When my watch finally died after five years of nearly-continuous wear, I went to buy a new one. The clerk kindly resized the new one for me, then offered to set it. I said “Yes please, and thanks” then checked my wrist so I could tell him the correct time to set it to. I was mildly embarrassed when I realized what I’d done.
