Aside: As a long time resident of Minnesota, I became curious about the ethnic derivation of my neighbors, specifically, is there any real difference between Norwegians and Swedes. So I asked some, and what I got was: According to Norwegians, they are hard working, sober and industrious. According to Swedes, they are dull, uncurious and narrow-minded. According to Swedes, they are intelligent, educated and sophisticated. Norwegians regard Swedes as frivolous, flighty, and lazy. Naught as queer as folk, eh? ---
