People _say_ they notice when I’m not around – of course, I have a tendency to start a thread announcing my return if I’m gone for a week or more, so it’s not exactly a random sample. ---

I think it would be noticed if I stopped posting for a few weeks. It might be greeted with a sigh of relief by many, but I do think it would be noticed. **CalMeacham** , I would notice you missing from the mythologies threads. I always expect to see you in those. **twickster** , I am sure I would notice if you were missing. I have noticed **Maureen** is posting less frequently lately. She seems to post in spurts. I think there has been a few threads on waiting for \*\*Eve \*\* to return. People have probably noticed, \*\*Excalibre \*\* has pretty much left the board. I think he let his membership lapse this time. Jim ---

There was a period of about six months when I stopped posting, and nobody noticed (except maybe the other people who weren’t posting). This is a board with many active members, but few “star” members whose absence will be remarked upon. ---

Are you kidding? I’m Mr. Cellophane. If I posted incontrovertible proof of God’s existence including his cell number, e-mail address and photos of him shaking hands with Elvis I’d be ignored. I could post the definitive solution to global warming that was not only easy to do but cost effective with immediate results and the silence would be deafening. God, I’m depressed now.
