I like what, IIRC, John Oliver said. “After being sentenced to 30 years, Kelly’s defense attorney told the judge he felt the sentence is harsh and then asked the judge if he would consider a younger sentence”.

Ike: I think you misread the story. It was 30 years for the previous conviction. He hasn’t been sentenced yet for today’s conviction–that probably won’t happen for a few weeks.
