I don’t know, **cornflakes**. **IF** this is considered a time of war, he could be court-martialed and executed for desertion. He left his post.

News reports say that the sgt. is “a disturbed young man”. I will not be surprised if he is executed, especially if the sentence is carried out under the present administration; but he may be found “insane” and confined to prison for the rest of his life.
