# Do you think spinsanity.org is bias-free?

Personally, I am sick to death of misrepresentations by anyone who is talking politics. I don’t like being lied to by lefties any more that I do by the right. Apparently I can’t believe the news because it’s the primary weapon of the “liberal media.”

Then I found [spinsanity](http://www.spinsanity.org/). It strikes me as (to use a much-overused phrase) fair and balanced site. The editors strive to “use rigorous, non-partisan analysis to expose the use and intent of the simulated reason and public relations techniques that dominate political discourse,” but they themselves are “politically active in Democratic and progressive politics.”

So one would be inclined to think. “leftist slant,” but they appear to take the left to task as much as the right. Admitting that my own political bent is prone to coloring my opinion, I wanted to pose it to the Dopers…

Leftist? Rightist? Or have we actually found a “fair and balanced” site dealing with politics and the news?
