# Do you think WW2 Vets hated songs from 1966-1972

Also, I think by the 70s most kids preferred it if their parents and grandparents didn’t like their music. It used to be that if parent expressed even mild approval of a song their kid was listening to, that was the kiss of death for that song and that artist. The kid would purge the record and artist from his or her collection in short order.
