I don’t know that I would call it a high, but I’m always glad I did it. I used to play tennis every Friday with 3 other people, and I would always grumble about my crap week and how I was so tired and did I really have to do this…but I would always go because three people on a tennis court is just no good and I didn’t want to let them down. And every single time I felt less tired after playing for a couple of hours than I had before I went. You would think I would have been able to convince myself each week by that alone (“Just go, you know you’ll feel better”) but for some reason my mind doesn’t work that way.
