We line-dry almost all our clothes, all year round. We have a big outdoor line, and racks that go on the deck under the veranda if it’s raining. We can bring the racks in overnight or if the weather is too terrible.
Our dryer is in the garage, and only gets used on the very odd occasion (less than once a month) that we need the just-washed items soon, or the weather is really wet.
I’m too lazy to iron, so I want my shirts coming out at least halfway unwrinkled.
There are a couple of shirts (oddly, all my shirts are Goodwill, but these are gifts: more expensive Filson shirts) that I need to add half a dryer sheet to.
I’m about 50/50%, I live in a small apartment and hang a line, somewhat awkwardly, for plenty of stuff, but scrubs and underwear and bike shorts go through the dyer for the disinfecting aspect.
