There is no simple answer. Afghanistan, yes. Iraq, I didn’t support the invasion, but I don’t believe that we can simply pull out now. Male, retired military. 67 ---

1 : Afghanistan yes, Iraq no. We should bring back our weapons and equipment, and leave the disarmed soldiers behind for the Iraqis to deal with as they see fit. After all, if they _love_ us for “liberating” them so much, surely the’ll just send the soldiers home. 2 : Male 3 : 37 ---

No Female 27 I do support the troops and it pains me that they have to be over there at all, which is mainly why I don’t support it. That and the cost, and the loss of innocent lives. ---

Given the constant rhetoric from the pro war types, I find my earlier idea a nice fantasy. I’m _always_ hearing claims that the vast majority of Iraqis just love us; if that were true they _would_ send the soldiers home. ---
