I did that many times as a kid. It’s still possible, but clearly my arms are less flexible.

I worry about the Dopers who – upon _attempting_ it – can no longer physically respond to the poll.

I can do it, but I am very flexible-- I have a collagen defect, and could put my feet behind my head until a few years ago-- I’m 57, and they don’t go all the way behind my head anymore, but I can put the soles of my feet up to the sides of my face. I could also get into the lotus position until a few years ago without using my hands, and now I can still do it, but I have to pull my toes of one foot up with one hand.

I can also still sit one the floor criss-cross applesauce, and get up no-handed.

And I scar very little. I have no scar from my c-section, nor the stitches I had Harry Potter-style on my forehead in my early 30s from a car accident when the rearview mirror hit me in the forehead. When I was gutted like a fish 5 years ago to have a twisted gut repaired, I ended up with just a pencil-line scar, that may still fade.

So I may not be a good example.

Same here.
