It sounded plausible, to make a cosmetic-level replacement, but I find difficult to believe that they think he might have a full sex life some day. The mechanism of erection and stimulous to orgasm just seems too complex to me to believe they can engineer it. ---

You’d figure a new penis would cost an arm and a leg, so this guy made out. As for erections, there is a sack of vessels near the base of the real penis, that, if intact, could help the new penis with extra flow needed for an erection. It just might be possible to get this guy some functionality. No matter how you slice it, he won’t be normal, per se, and anything less than normal can’t be good. ---
