Itchy, itchy! Not only did my fur get shaved in odd spots for the EKG pads, she sanded the spots! And just as I was recovering from what they did for the two-week heart monitor… Gah! She didn’t look that sadistic at first… ---

Went to bed with Mel a bit after 8. Didn’t hear the spousal unit come in, or much of anything else. I think I woke briefly and lay there with my eyes closed , determined not to look at the clock. Which was good, because I fell back to sleep. I suspect the alarm caught me in mid-REM because I felt really hung over. But I’m up, showered, dressed, and breakfasting. I even emptied the dishwasher. Maybe starting work at 7 isn’t such a bad deal - I get stuff done in the morning. We shall see. I’m going to try a different route to work. It’s a bit longer, but less traffic, so maybe faster. Happy Wednesday, world!!! ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up, caffeineated and purtified, so no _YAWN_. ‘Tis 42 Amurrkin out and clear (can see the partial lunar eclipse startin’ up) with a predicted high of 80 and clear for the day. We’re goin’ for a McBrekkie this mornin’ and then I get to go to the extreme southeast forty. Rah. I hear rumblin’s from the bedroom that tell me OYKW has finished his purtification ritual so I reckon we’re ready to grace Mickey D’s with our presence. 😃 Happy Hump Day Y’all! ---

Alternate route seemed to take about the same amount of time, but with fewer lights and much less traffic. Interesting… Stoopit soda machine is broken. I’s thirsty and I didn’t bring a drink because they’re just a quarter here. Except when the machine is broken. Dammit. I may need some chocolate to ease my disappointment. 😃 ---

Week is lasting way to long. **FCM** I’ve got about 3-4 routes I can take to/from work, I usually take the shortest, but I vary at times just because I can. And here, traffic at 0600 is not a problem. **gotti,** my chest hair is just starting to reach its usual thickness several weeks after my physical/EKG, so i know what you mean. Odd feeling, isn’t it? Nice today, but Thunder-Boomers are predicted for Thorsday. And I have to do my laundry (I usually wait until I run out of something, and the sock drawer is empty) tonight. Oh joy. ---

I’ve had a skin tag in my armpit for a week or so. Yesterday it was a little painful when I was in the shower. This morning I looked at it and it was black – which is unusual because I’m a Caucasian. I’m guessing a pit hair got wrapped around it and it’s going the way of sheep’s testicles when a rubber band is wrapped around them. But I’m going to see if I can see the doctor today so he can have a look at it before I cut it off. ---

Yawn. Was up early (for me) to babysit the house while the handyman replaces an exterior door. Does anyone know the old disney animated Robin Hood? The rooster balladeer Alan a Dale? How he hums and sings snatches of stuff all the time? Yeaaaaahhh. It’s hysterical, but it’s getting chilly in here with a gaping hole in the wall. I’m guiltily happy to not have to drive my new car until the afternoon today. ---

The bruise seems to go pretty deep there - at least it feels bruised, despite the lack of purple visible thru the skin. And I had some medicinal ice cream also, but it was just vanilla, which isn’t nearly as potent as tin roof sundae or rocky road… ---

At first, way back when, my then-doctor thought I may be having some anxiety issues. Luckily he followed up and found the root causes were my BP and heart issues - its pretty natural for your body to react in several ways when something isn’t quite right. Ready for irk. What threw me off my game yesterday was a co-worker (new one) having a meltdown on another worker and myself. This new lady is one of those who could go all stabby for real; documented anger issues. I don’t know if HR is going to do anything or how its going to play out but its really sapped the joy out of things in a big way. But I’m just silly enough to find something to laugh about today and just move along. ---

I think I had the twelve-hour flu, or something, day before yesterday. Started feeling achy and run-down about midday; after work, it was all I could do to crawl home, take some meds, and try to sleep. No headache; no fever; no nausea; just total exhaustion and every cell just hurt. Woke up the next morning not too bad; fine now. Weird. ---

Try not to worry too much (easier said than done). It will all work out and you’ll be playing again in no time. Child 1 and DH are off to school. I have horrendous “why is there even a daytime” migraine headache. I’m going back to bed.
