# Doctor Who 4x01 "Partners in Crime"

I liked the miming a lot. 😃

But the whole premise seemed weak and (as others have said) Russell T Davies relies on comedy, rather than plot.

Guards with sub-machine guns? Policeman “Excuse me Sir, can I acquaint you with the UK gun laws?”  
The chief villain has … no powers, just a sonic device?  
How do creatures made entirely of fat build interplanetary spaceships?

The trailer showed giant bees or wasps - something linked to that I guess.
