What I wouldn’t mind seeing is a one-episode new companion fake-out. The Doctor invites a new companion along. The very moment they get into danger, the companion says; "You invited me to see Time and Space and you took me directly into danger? What are you, stupid? No, don’t answer that. What happened to your last companion? “Turned into a Cyberman” “And the one before that?” “Killed by an alien device” “And the one before that?” “Trapped in the past.” “And the one before that?” “Trapped in another dimension.” “RIGHT. Off we go, take me straight home you daft bugger!” ---

I finally got around to watching it from the DVR, good episodes, but am I the only one cynical enough to be thinking that Bill and the star-eyed chick are basically having a first date in all of space and time, and like all first dates only have a 10% chance or so of being able to stand each other after hooking up(how ever _that_ works for puddle-people)? ---

They just created The Dominion. 🆒 Soon they’ll have their own planet with an entire ocean of them on it. Only these Founders can travel all of Time and Space as easily as a Tardis. :eek: ---

Nah, I’d do the immortality thing in the Doctor’s universe where there will be Humans around basically forever (so you’re not left as some ancient evolutionary specimen). If I could travel time and space, that would be why you run into a guy who looks exactly like me every 30 miles or so. Those are all me at various points in a long time-line, living concurrently in the same time period. I could probably live 10,000 or more life times over the period of one lifetime on Earth. 🆒 Help an earlier brother out? 😛 ---

My favorite line in this episode wasn’t even listed in a couple of places I look for Doctor Who quotes. “You two should know by now that if you’re winning and I’m in the room, you’re missing something.” When the did the flashback showing the Doctor falling after Missy hits him, and it turned out he’d typed information that reprogrammed the Cybermen to think Time Lords were human, that reminded me of his line in “Family of Blood” in which he says, “You should’ve have let me push all those buttons. Run!” ---
