# Does a bear crap in the woods?

Well, that’s not actually the question. We all know the answer to that. The question is, will Bear Grylss eat it?

On last night’s new episode of “Man vs. Wild” on the Discovery channel, Bear Grylls, while in Transylvania, actually ate bear scat. Maybe he was under the influence of supernatural forces.

If that obnoxious toilet paper commercial with the too-cutesy animated bears is any indicator, the answer is “YES! Yes they DO shit in the woods.” It seems they do very little other than shit in the woods.

I can’t imagine how hungry I’d have to be, or how much I’d have to be paid, to eat bear poop. Now elk poop…that’s a whole different matter.
