# Does a person actually need a stove

In 1974 I took an extended road trip (only just this second recognized that I was actually homeless ) and we lived on bologna sandwiches and apples. We would occasionally heat some canned foods on our exhaust manifold. Sure you can exist without an oven but I would never chose to.
