The other rules I try to avoid when possible are the “lead 2 of clubs, no blood (points) on first trick” rules, which are very common (standard even) and in some Hearts programs I’ve played, unavoidable.

Leading the 2c is fine by me but I loathe the “no blood” rule.

There was talk a while back about getting a Doper Hearts game/tourney going through Yahoo. Is there any interest amonst the hoi polloi?

There’s a national tournament coming up in Atlanta in a few weeks which, alas, I will not be able to attend.

My partner and I are flying down to Atlanta this week to play Wednesday through Sunday.
