He seems to have abruptly vanished. He last posted 6-26 and his last posts didn’t indicate anything out of the ordinary. I e-mailed him a couple of days ago and no answer yet. ---

I have no idea where he went, but I hope he turns up. He seemed like a nice guy. Unfortunately it sounded like he was pretty much on his own so I don’t think anyone would be able to tell us if there was something wrong. ---

Post #2084 in [this thread on another forum](http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1216722&page=70) appears to have been made by a MarkXXX in Chicago, earlier today. I can’t view his user profile because I’m not registered on that site and new registrations are disabled. But it seems as though that might possibly be him. ---

Last I remember, Mark is not doing well financially and would not be likely to be going on vacation. His recent diet has been rice and beans, IIRC. ---
