This has been driving me nuts. I’ve got a snippet of some 80s song running around my head and I can’t remember the name or artist, so I thought I’d bring my problem to the biggest think tank I know of. “And when I close my eyes, I feel you are here, near me again…” Any ideas? Anyone? Much obliged! corvidae ---

The closest thing I can remember off-hand is “Close Your Eyes” by Ozzy Osborne and Lita Ford. ---

My brother and I have this thing (nostalgia? obsession?) about eighties top 40 music. He got a CD burner not so long ago and offered to make me the ultimate 80s mix, so lately I’ve been racking my brain trying to remember some of the more obscure top 40 songs. So far, so good - but now I’ve hit a brick wall. It was a pretty low key song- slowish, but exactly slow. Sluggish, perhaps? 🙂 It reminds me a bit of _I can dream about you_ by Dan Hartman. The pacing and style are somewhat similar (except that _I can dream about you_ speeds up in the chorus). As far as timing goes, I’m pretty sure this was early to mid eighties (83-35).
