How well does the CCRadio Operate. Is it worth the extra $$$$$ ?
This Radio is equipped with the most technologically advanced AM radio Antenna. The Radio is not available in retail stores.

I have a Grundig, which is about 2-3x as sensitive as a standard AM radio, my parents have a CC radio and it is about 2-3x as sensitive as my Grundig. So I say it’s worth it if you have reception trouble, or want to get out of town stations. (the rating ‘2-3x’ is my own humble O, and not a scientific rating).

How did you measure that?

I do have a CCRadio Plus, but don’t have too many other radios to compare it to. I got it during a period when I was traveling extensively one summer all over the East Coast, and wanted to catch Mets games broadcast on WFAN-AM (660) out of NYC. It’s one of the more powerful signals out there, and I was able to pick up a rock solid transmission from as far north as Montreal and as far south as Virginia.
