I was a big Tribes fan back when it first came out. I especially loved the modified version where you could shoot everything in fully-auto! But when Tribes 2 was released, I had not yet updated my Graphics card, so I couldn’t play it. Is the game still popular. Does anyone play it? Are the subsequent releases substantially different than the original? Is it worth getting the latest installment? ---

The newest version is Tribes: Vengance. And if your video card couldn’t run Tribes 2, and you still have the same one, there ain’t no way in Hell you’re running Vengance. I’ve never played it, because I was never a big Tribes fan (I’m a Counter-Strike guy, and there seems to be a big rift between fans of the games.) ---

Nah. I can play anything with the new Graphics Card I got. Interesting that you should bring up CS. I was deciding between those two games myself. I bought CS: Condition Zero because of the single player function. But no one ever plays it online. Is the regular CS the way to go if I choose that instead? ---

I do not own Tribes Vengence but I have heard that a planned patch for the game has been cancelled due to poor sales.
