# Does anyone using Sandboxie encounter this program?

My [Sandboxie](https://www.sandboxie.com/) program served me well since May 2016. Suddenly it says that it is “incompatible with this version of Windows”. If anyone is an expert on Sandboxie, I would appreciate your help.

What version of Windows are you running, that SandboxIE is now not compatible with?

It looks like this is related to the latest Windows updates and is supposed to be fixed in the next release (of SandboxIE).
