Do folks still make those salt sculptures in the lake? I passed through there many years ago, and saw that people would make frames and encrust them with salt from the lake.

One artist has made a huge sculpture in the lake. It’s called the “Spiral Jetty.” When it was first done, the lake level was fairly low, and then it was covered by water for several years, so no one could see it. With our recent drought it has resurfaced again.

Something more than a sign, but less than Daytona. Even Edward’s Air Force Base (if that still what its called) at least has runways on the lake bed…
