My mom says this about duck, but she’s only had wild, and claims it was very gamey. ---

Yes, dick makes me suck…wait, no, I mean suck makes me dick - er, no, duck makes me suck. Ugh. No, it’s sick that makes me duck. And it’s greasy, too. ---

If duck is on the menu, I will order it, in any form. My local Costco had frozen confit about a year ago and I bought as much as I could fit in my freezer. Then they had half of a roasted orange duck and I bought as much of that as I could fit in my freezer. If they ever get foie gras, I’m buying a chest freezer. ETA: This was the Costco that was in the nice part of town, which often has significantly different things than the Costco closest to my home. I drive the extra 10 minutes for the good selection. ---
