# Does Dunkin' Donuts Coffee Taste Funny?

I’m a big coffee drinker, but I wouldn’t say I’m a connoisseur! So, in short, I’m not too picky! So, Dunkin’ Donuts brags in their ads of having the best coffee. But, it consistently has like a burnt taste to me, IMHO, which I don’t like. Is this perhaps a French roast blend giving me this burnt taste? (I’m ordering just a coffee…no fancy latte this, cappichino that, or whatever flavored snooty expresso, etc…)

Has anyone else felt this way about the flavor of their most basic coffee flavor? - Jinx

P.S. It’s a shame because their donuts are #1 in my book!

There coffee is crap. There apple fritters on the other hand, are just plain evil.

I like Dunkin Donuts coffee; I have never noticed a burnt flavor to it.

Eeew! Everything Dunkin’ Donuts makes has sort of a stale flavor, if you ask me. Their coffee is the pits!

I’ve been spoiled on Krispy Kreme – best of both worlds!

There’s no better coffee on earth than Dunkin’s. Starbucks and their ilk just can’t compare. I’ve definetly never noticed anything funny about the taste.

Then again, Dunkin Donuts is something of a religion in and around Boston. I live in a town of 30,000 with 7 Dunkin Donuts, at last count, and 2 more within 1/2 mile of the town line.

It depends on the Dunkin Donuts you go to. I have four that are relatively close to me. Three of them have bad coffee. The other one has never given me a bad cup. I make it a point to only go to that one!
