# Does every Seinfeld episode inspire a thread in you?

I just watched The Marine biologist. I thought I might ask whether a whale could really have a golf ball obstrust its blow hole. Or was this just a fantasy?

I guess it’d be possible. In the relaxed state they have a muscular flap that covers the blowhole, but maybe if the ball landed in the hole right when the whale started breathing out. I’m not sure what the relative size of blowholes are, but I guess the right size whale would have about a golfball sized one.  
But with a whale being so huge and a hole being that small, i’d be surprised if they couldn’t blow hard enough to launch that thing.

Since the whale is in the very cold Atlantic water, you will need to allow for _shrinkage_.
