> That’s rather unusual, seeing as _Schoolhouse Rock_ was three-minute shorts that appeared during ABC’s Saturday Morning cartoons. Are you sure you’re not confusing it with your visit to the Marianas Trench?

Well, I saw “Schoolhouse Rock” about seven times while watching something else (probably “The Tick”), so I think that counts. 😃

In spite of how Canadians feel about the CBC (i.e. pretentious, boring, and extremely Toronto-centric), they do cover sports well.

> Did you, by any chance, ever happen to see [_Codco_](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CODCO), which aired right before it?
>
> For me, _KITH_ was just something you watched because you were already glued to the set for _Codco_ – at least in the beginning, before it really grew on me, and when _Codco_ was still at its peak.

> Codco was smarter and edgier than _Kids in the Hall_, but I’ve often wondered if its humour translated well across the border. To say that it was _extremely_ (Atlantic) Canadian is something of an understatement.

“Froiday noight! I’se _hates_ Froiday noight!”

Never cared for Codco myself, but I got a kick out of the Froiday noight girls. 4 on the Floor and Frantic Times before that is more up my alley.
