Personally, I think Tebow is walking, breathing proof that it is better to be lucky than good. This whole situation is hilarious. ---

As I stated earlier, your conclusions can be correct even if your reasoning is bunk. There’s also all the confirmation bias. Like his love for undrafted free agents. Apparently, no first round pick has ever been a hard-working, uber-deserving team player who deserved the money coming their way. And apparently the vast majority of UDFAs aren’t actually lesser talents who won’t amount to much, even with all the effort in the world. Or the aforementioned stance on blitzing. For each Redskins game where this is true, you also get a Saints game against a bad team where Greg Williams dials up a good one on 3rd and long, but this isn’t mentioned. It would ruin the confirmation bias. I’m not even going into some of the questionable scientific and social commentary. ---

Yes, and his evidence in saying so was two Redskins blown coverage plays against the Patriots! I can think of a lot of other factors which might have come into play there, not least of which the fact that one of the teams was the Redskins, and the other the Patriots. ---

That doesn’t actually help the argument, does it? 13th against the pass means they’re, at best, slightly about average, doesn’t it? I think I heard something about a prolific Patriots passing attack or a future HoF QB on pace to break Marino’s single season yardage record, but that could be my imagination. ---

I think he’s on gods Fantasy team, not even god can save Tebow from total suckitude but that’s no reason to blow the big guys chances in the playoffs. ---

gregg williams used to coach the redskins. i read greg easterbrook sometimes when i’m pooping. that’s about it. i don’t think too much about his “conclusions” either. the nifty stats are just that - nifty stats. i doubt anyone with football sway is taking his rantings and ravings any more seriously than the NBA takes Bill Simmons seriously.
