# Does it matter if Charlie Crist (R candidate for Florida gov) is gay?

Old people. Why would you think gays would want to live in a flaccid penis? They aren’t nearly as much fun in that condition.

The only place I know in Florida that is simply infested with gays is Key West. Of course, there is a visible gay presence in every medium-sized-to-big city in Florida, as in every other state.

Orlando, which Crist has been essentially co-mayor of for the last few years, has a large gay community due to WDW.

It also has a quite strong religious-right contingient, with the HQ of several major Christian groups in town (and also, ironically, due to WDW. It’s a weird place, man).

The consensus in town, including most of the gay community, is that he isn’t gay. Some of course doubt that, but as he is a social moderate there hasn’t been any effort to out him even if he is.
