If she avoids public appearances, (other than standing next to Jeb and smiling), it should have no affect. Laura Bush was pretty much invisible both during the election seasons and during GWB’s time in office. She had a few causes that she supported, but she rarely promoted them in ways that got her time on the evening news or plastered across magazine covers.

Are most first ladies really all that visible? Perhaps we have a skewed perspective because Michelle Obama is a media darling, and Hillary Clinton… well… kinda forced her way into the spotlight whether anyone wanted her there or not.

I had a conversation with her last month. She’s speaks conversational English just fine.
Agreed (although not last month, this was during JEBs time as Gov). I did also get the sense that she’s relatively introverted (especially for a politico’s wife). Really nice lady though.
Actually, I think I’d be more inclined to vote for her (for just about anything) than JEB.
