Does "Joe Average" still bowl?

I work in a department with 15 people. 2 bowl competitively. I think everyone else has probably bowled occasionally. I was part of a league for about 3 months, 10 years ago or so. There definitely aren’t as many bowling alleys around here as there used to be, but from what my colleagues tell me, they surviving ones are still quite busy.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say bowling is something that connects you to a specific demographic.

Sort of on topic - the bowling alley where they filmed those scenes for the Big Lebowski was torn down a few years ago.

Back on topic, nobody I know bowls. However, I live in Los Angeles and work in the entertainment industry, so I don’t think my peers and I count as ‘Joe Average’ (for this definition, anyway).
