I would very much like to own a docking station for my iPod Classic that displays the album covers. Ideally the display would be as large as a CD case more or less. I realize it would suck up a good deal of battery juice but perhaps that feature would only function when it was plugged into the wall. Does such a thing exist? ---

Probably not the answer you’re looking for, but it’s probably easier just to get a iPad mini, Kindle Fire, or [Echo Show](https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-MW46WB-Introducing-Echo-Show/dp/B01J24C0TI) at this point. ---

It appears to work with a TV. My hope would be for something portable. ---

Another vote for an iPad mini - no one is going to make a video docking station to compete with that solution. Too narrow a market. If you don’t want that, the cobble one together with a small [FPV monitor](https://www.getfpv.com/5-lumenier-lcd-fpv-monitor.html) and an AppleTV - then mirror the iPod screen to the AppleTV.
